EBCO’s high flow rate Float Valves are robust and efficient, capable of automatically adjusting to fluctuations in water supply pressure. A standard seat size and ball float accommodate working pressures up to 10 bar for the MK2 reduced bore valve and 5 bar for the MK1 full bore valve. These valves deliver rapid, quiet, and smooth shut-off performance, thanks to their full or reduced bore seat design and hydraulically balanced closure mechanism

Working

• Initial Position Valve open:

  • When the liquid level in the tank drops, the float ball lowers with the liquid.
  • This movement pulls the lever arm attached to the valve, opening the valve.
  • Water or liquid flows through the valve to refill the tank.

• Filling the Tank:

  • Once the liquid reaches the preset maximum level, the float ball reaches its highest point.
  • The lever arm gradually moves, reducing the flow rate as it approaches the desired liquid

• Valve Closure - Full Tank:

  • As the liquid level rises, the buoyant force pushes the float ball upwards.
  • This fully closes the valve, stopping the flow of liquid.
  • The design ensures a tight seal to prevent leakage.

• Self-Regulation:

  • The valve automatically adjusts to maintain the desired liquid level without manual intervention.
  • If the liquid level drops again due to usage or leakage, the cycle repeats.
